This boutique festival is held in the idyllic Cornbury Park where huge names in the world of music, theatre, arts and comedy all come together for a spectacular four-day extravaganza. It's the perfect weekend escape to stroll around the lakeside woodland setting, all whilst seeing some unforgettable entertainment and indulging in the finest food and drink.
Riverside Festival
Riverside Festival has grown into the largest free music festival in Oxfordshire. Over five thousand people enjoy great music over the two days, set on the picturesque Mill Field ‘island’ on the outskirts of Charlbury Oxfordshire. With over 30 bands playing across the three stages; from rock, indie, folk and blues there is something for everyont to enjoy. There is an amazing variety of food, craft and children’s entertainment stalls, making this the very best family event Oxfordshire has to offer.
Charlbury Beer Festival
Charlbury Beer Festival is run to raise money for good causes. It's the UK's biggest one day independent beer festival, raising money for great causes. It also incorporates the World Aunt Sally Championship, which is worth seeing, even if you are not a fan of real ale. As an added bonus, the range and quality of the beer is truly excellent.
Charlbury Street Fair
Charlbury Street Fair is held in September and has taken place every year since the early 1950's.
The main purpose of Street Fair and Open Gardens is to raise money for the upkeep of the Corner House and the War Memorial Hall - two community buildings that play an important part in the lives of many people in and around Charlbury.
Street Fair weekend always starts on the Friday with the annual Egg Throwing Competition, Street Fair itself is held on the Saturday.
